Luis García-Izquierdo is the Global Head of Alternatives Investments Bussines and CEO of Santander Alternative Investments SGIIC, previously he was the global head of Latam Business since February 2019.

Prior to this position, Luis was SAM Global Chief Financial Officer for 4 years. Before joining SAM, he was the CEO of MB Capital Advisers Holding for 14 years. Previously, he had been part of Santander Group from 1993 to 2000, holding various positions at HQ, UK and Chile. He started his career at PwC as an auditor.

Luis García-Izquierdo holds a Master’s degree in Coaching and Emotional Intelligence from EAE, PDG  from IESE  and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from the Madrid Complutense University.
