Carlos Manzano is CEO of Santander Alternative Investments, Santander Asset Management's alternative investment manager. He is also head of the investees area in Non-Performing Assets (NPAs), restructurings and corporate investments.

He joined Santander in 2017 from Deutsche Bank, where he spent four years as head of the Iberia real estate business within the alternatives area. Carlos Manzano, whose career spans more than 25 years, has previously held a number of posts at companies including Metrovacesa, Gecina and Bami.

Carlos graduated in Economics from Valladolid University and holds an MBA from ESADE Business School, as well as a certificate in Corporate Finance from IESE Business School.
